I've just finished watching the santa cruz vs frampton fight and all I can say is well done Carl Frampton
I didn't think he could do it but he looked really good in there and super featherweight seems like a good weight for him.
Thoughts on his win?
Carl Frampton becomes a 2 weight champion

Brook's manager and promoter are a disgrace.
They are so many big fights for him at welterweight. Why move up two weight classes to fight this monster.
He could have fought Khan, Garcia, Thurman, Spence, Bradley, Pacquiao, Mayweather at 147lbs, and Canelo and other fighters at 154lbs. And if he got through most of those, then maybe try your hand at middleweight, then face GGG.
No need for it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why didn't Pacquiao choose any of those welterweights?
Wouldn't be anything to do with him being scared, knowing he'd end up being beaten and it'd tarnish his legacy a wee bit more?
Surely he should be fighting the best, no? Instead of ducking them

I answered your points at least twice.
Rigo has no financial clout as he's always in boring fights.
Boxing is a business first and foremost and a dangerous one at that so it makes no financial sense to fight him when there are bigger and more valuable fights out there. Christ, the guy can't get a fight in America because nobody wants to watch him outside of boxing's fans.. and even some of us can't be ersed watching him box the pants off of people as he never gets involved.
I notice you've completely avoided the point raised about Pacquiao
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And to say Rigo is a boring fighter is false. He been in many more exciting fights than Quigg vs Frampton.
Framptons would have made 1-2m from a fight with Rigo, so the money angle is false as well.
Bottom line is, Frampton didn't take the fight because he thought he would lose, that is ducking. You might like it and fanboys excuse that, I don't.
And, I have no interest in changing the subject to another topic.
Fans like you lot are the reason why boxing is in the state it is in.

RIGO is such box office he is fighting nobodies on Box Nation.
D4 is a clown who was chased from the old BBC 606 site and the 606v2 site, he can't hack it with the real boxing posters

Mayweather, Pacquiao, Canelo, Cotto, Marquez and a host of other big name all have fought on Box Nation.
And Rigo fought Donaire, bigger than any name on Frampton's record.
Pretty pathetic all your excuses for boxers ducking.

He fought Donaire 3 years ago before fans realised his fights were snooze fests.
Possibly a bit of a backlash after Mayweather boring fans for so long.. nobody wants to line the pockets of a very good fighter who just boxes the pants off of people while not really engaging in a fight because they're too good.
Fans appreciate skills, but like a bit of action.

Fans
Canelo gave the same excuse when ducking GGG
Khan gave it when ducking Brook.
Stevenson gave in when ducking Kovalev
Mayweather demanding all the PPV money from Pacquiao
If you have so much disrespect for the fans that you think they don't want to see the big fights you are a disgrace.
And if you are buying theses excuses from these ducking fighters, you're a bigger disgrace.
It's only the fanboys that stick up for their ducking fighters, in every case.

I'm not even that much of a Frampton fan tbh, he comes across as a bit of a d!ck at times.
I'll agree that Canelo has ducked GGG because that fight would generate millions no bother. Same with Khan and Brook.
Rigo just doesn't offer you that though, hence why he's having to find fights outside of America against guys who are nowhere near world class. Nobody in America wants to watch him fight. Nobody wants a Mayweather mkII.

GGG and Kovalev have both fought outside America against guys that are nowhere near their class.
And Rigo has been in some quality fights

Aye when GGG was a virtual unknown to an American audience.. it's only recently he's started pulling in the crowds, hence a fight with Canelo would be huge as it's be for the undisputed middleweight championship.
Frampton v Rigo wouldn't pull anywhere close to the money that fight would bring.
Khan v Brook would be another huge money fight as Khan has the American audience and Brook has a title and an exciting style, with a good British following. Not to.mention both would sell the fight well in the build up as there's bad blood there.
Trying to compare the potential Canelo and Khan fights to Rigo is like comparing apples and oranges.
