Regarding David Moyes when he was at united.

To be fair to him, he was never given the time. Who knows what would have happened.

And for all those united supporters, what the hell were you thinking! did you seriously think the club would be back at the top like normal after SAF. Of course he was going to struggle. After that any manager including your own Jose would have.

Struggle yes, but the absolute sheite that we watched that season, no i didnt think it would get as bad as quick.

I always felt a little bit sorry for him, and actually for all those who showed him little to no sympathy - the following 2 years have perhaps put it into context.

He failed badly, people were willing to give him a chance and were prepared to a wobble but he did atrociously.

We finished 7th, we didn't even get Europa league football, Tottenham, Everton and Liverpool all finished above us, any club that was at least half decent that season finished above us.

The teams Moyes managed to finish above where the likes of West Brom and Newcastle, given our team you feel like any random bloke off the street could have come in and achieved the same (or better)

The 2 years after he left we finished 4th and then finished a point off 4th but won the FA cup.
