On the BBC gossip page.
If this is our "madness incoming" as the article a few down from this says I will be very disappointed. We need a striker far more than another winger. Although this rumour is from an Algerian source, via a French source, both of unknown reliability.
Come on Arsenal, do a real "madness" deal and buy someone like Messi.
We're getting Mahrez apparently

Harsh yes but i guess i'm fed up of waiting for these guys to delivery. They are all on big wages ranging from 50k to over 140k and for them to ask for these wages means they think they are right up there. Sadly they are not as good as they think as they should be shown up.

Perhaps you're talking specifically about wingers. I'm drawing a comparison between your comments about these guys and a couple of players who were unlucky with injuries who we didn't immediately get rid of. You make it sound like they deliberately go out and injure themselves and, as AFC says, you sound very bitter.
And you talk about their wages... which one of those lads is out there demanding higher wages off the back of a period of injury? Or a period of abject mediocrity? I don't know of any... except when Walcott did recently. Who we all think should leave.

The reason why they are not consistent is because they are constantly getting injured and lose form. Unfortunately we have several players where this will be the story of their lives, especially with our medical team.
This is why, if I were playing football manager Walcott, Ox and Wilshere would all be gone.

Walcott, Oxlade and Wilshere with the latter 2 due for contract talks pretty soon. No doubt they will be getting massive pay rises despite doing boo hoo.

Didn't Walcott renew his contract last year...? Can't see him doing that a year later if that's the case.

Yeah I think he did.

Leicester have just completed the signing of that polish winger so maybe there are some truths in the Mahrez rumours.

The problem is we probably wont get a striker if we get him. Xhaka (£30m), Mahrez (maybe £35m) and Mustafi (figures between £15m and £40m quoted, say £25m) would come to £90m. If we also got Lacazette for £35m which is less than Lyon want that would be £125m in one transfer window. I just cant see that happening.
