Williams anyone?

If Everton are going to dilly-dally over a couple of Million for a good leader and strong CB, then we should go in for him. I'd take Williams over Jones and Blind for starters. Think if the price was right, Swansea would let him go.

Worth a look?

What is a decent price these days for a CB? I've lost any idea what is an acceptable decent amount of money for a player recently.

Who knows.

I would only be interested in Williams if we pay over £70m for him. We should not go under £50m for him because we need a £50m (at least) centre back. Realistically we should get him for £65m but hopefully negotiate that up to £70m and then can offer £50m to Celtic for Efe Ambrose and then we will have a £120m centre back partnership. It will show that we are the biggest club in the world.

My bad. I thought Dirty Harry was 1969. Got mixed up with Coogans Bluff, another great Clint movie

Don't forget he is black, so we can tap into the 'urban' market eh Robb?

You've been talking with Ed again haven't you.

Infact, i'd go as far as to say, this is Ed. Only he could throw figures around like that.

I like him but he's going to be 32 later this month. It's a little too late as I don't think he could give us more than a season and at the price we might end up paying it won't be worth it.

We should be in for Bonucci if there is a defender to go for.

this ^

And with the utd tax his fee would be hitting the 20 mill mark and he's not worth that

He is a very good cb and was excellent for Wales at the euros

Give darmain another chance. Shaw was hardly brilliant when he first arrived.

As for Willian's, brilliant in the euros. Definately far better option than Jones.
