As to where we finished, we weren't great in 02/03 but we were better than the season that followed. Abiding memories of that season were Keane's hat-trick vs Everton in the return game, Etherington's sackable lack of effort to track Henry's run at The Library.... And also the way we bent over at home to United as they marched towards the title, which left the Arsenal fans fuming!

Reckon we finished about 10-12th

That was Hoddle's last full season, got to be about 12th or so.

Got the tin tack after a flaky start in 2003/04. A 3-0 humping by Fulham early doors I think, Hayles running riot

it twas 2-2 tomas razinkski played a blinder no idea who scored for us. we were outplayed.

finished the season 10th i think. The epitomy of mid table as we were back then.

Best result i remember was a 2-1 win back in 2007 jenas last minute winner. Got out of work late, made the last possible train by seconds delayed all the way up to Liverpool and making the game with a minute to spare. Wet cold and miserable i was so fed up then Jenas pops up. scenes.

And it was Rooney's debut for Everton!

No that was his first professional goal and the first of many goals he has scored against us over the years 😡

And Clive 'Roooooooneeey' Tyldesley has been getting hard ons whenever he shoots or scores in a game ever since that goal vs Arsenal.
