Nothing new in me being confused perhaps you can help me out here.
Did you not think twice when reading this by PP about Alex Finney “It was a big ask of Alex to come in but at 19-20 years of age he has to step up to the plate," he said.
Turn the page and then we have a story about goals or lack of them along with a fine list of ex players who have scored a few in a season. Tucked away at the bottom of that story is the name Alex Samizadeh.
So if Finney is at 19-20 years of age and being told he has to step up so why isn't the other Alex being given a chance to step up to the plate in front of goal ? You know PP set the team up to play for him and give him his chance.
I just don't get it why PP says one Alex has to step up then bemoans the lack of goals while another Alex who does score goals has to wait and watch our broken goal scoring machine Madine.
I don't get it !

may aswel cancel pratley's contract, carry on paying his wages, get a striker registered in his place, get rid of the washing machine too.

With a restriction on the squad size and lack of cash one bad week with injuries and there'll be a bit of flap on.

well if 2 players are to come in, 2 needs to be offloaded, either loaned out or contracts terminated. didn't realise pratters was here till end of 20128 season, and forgot about awful amos.

You have to laugh though they announced Andrews had signed then do a head count and realise the squad needs to be reduced by one so he can be registered. How did it work short straws as to who got paid off or did Finney have another club in his back pocket and offered to take the money knowing he would get a signing on fee.
Since we have all these fancy formation in use these days what are the odds of somebody not doing their sums right again and we start to field 12 or 10 players come match days.
Perhaps tomorrows edition of the daily Beano will give us the warts and all on this one with a nice cartoon at the bottom of the page.

This time next year could be fun we'll need a bag of new players for free if the money saved from high earners leaving is used to pay off the long staying high earners or a bit from this and a bit from that plus some more offices as we like those.
I can see the poster now The Juggle Part Duex live at the Macron.

I'll guess that this time next year we will have other owners, that's if we still exist then.

Clough is signed up to 2019 and chris taylor, howard, proctor and beevers signed to 2018.

So its keep everything crossed Clough stays fit and starts scoring for fun. It would go a long way to ensuring safety via points or a tidy fee.
