On a related topic if anyone finds themselves in rural Canada with no- one to play football with. If it's not winter might I suggest heading down to your local thawed out ice rink. The hockey boards make excellent players with proper rebounds not like them crappy mugga cagey rebounds. I 1-2'd all afternoon long barring a delicate chip over the rink that ended up in the lake... 😳

Yes 'problem solved' for the handful of games he's any use per season.

Hopefully he'll stay fit with his 1 hour exercise per day when he's inside.

On his day (which are even fewer than Hendrick's) he can be unplayable. But I watch his movement when we attack and he always makes the wrong run, I watch his movement off the ball and he is too happy to stand and wait for the ball to come to him, he doesn't want to collect it from the midfield. When it comes to him he will let it run across his body because if he has his back to goal he doesn't know what to do with it.

In other news it looks like Burnley won't be pursuing Hendrick anymore as they are signing Defour.

Well, after a several minutes of my life (that I wont get back) reading through this post, Im glad I know feck-all about footie systems and formations. TBH I thought you just all chased the ball up-field and ignored any offside malrkey, but then we did use jumpers for goalposts!

Oh and the thought of Commons feeding Martin would have frightened any defense to death.

BTW, as far as I know, this time last year, we had the grand total of two points and had been knocked-out of the League cup................... so ATM, we are one point worse-off, but still in the cup, so FFS calm-down.
