So a year ago we needed a competent forward to challenge giroud for a starting place in the team, today we still require the same.

A year ago we were embarrassed by West Ham at home on the opening day of the season, today it was Liverpool who did the honours at our ground.

Different season, same errors, same deficiencies, same excuses.

Fair enough some of us go overboard in our expression of discontent, but how some fans still manage to defend the structure, management and decision making at Arsenal football club is downright remarkable, and yes a lot of it boils down to who we have at the helm, Wenger.

Under him, we will forever be reactive and not proactive, be it team selections, transfers, tactics, you name it, we lack the cutting edge to ever be the best team in this league again, unless something changes. And I'm afraid it seems that change has to be 1 of Wenger, Kroenke, or both.

So raise your glasses guys, Here's to the same old mistakes as last season.
