Second goal was just a mess from the defence and abit for the GK. He basically had to come out as the defence had decided to go MIA.

Apart from the champions league game last year which David Ospina made a mistake in and was dropped for can you think of any others and wasn't the best display of the year by keeper he's at White Hart Lane?
Now think back to last season and Petr Cech and off the top of my head the Watford FA Cup game, Swansea 1-2, Liverpool 3-3 and the West am 2-0 he was at fault in them games instead of him making as 10 points he lost us 10 points and the league.

And as for asking about goalkeeping qualifications in that case and the here have got fifa licences to coach? And if not at means you're not qualified to make observations about football.

I just think no keeper should get beat from 35 yards if he knows shot is coming plus Coutinho's second goal it dives far too much to the near post as he scared to dive to his feet and leaves the goal wide open and the goal that Mane scored he was falling backwards on the ball was no more than a metre from a shoulder.

Too many here are remembering how Petr Cech used to be and not how he is now,his still a commanding figure in the box but he scared of going into groups of players like the Watford match last year and as lost some of his reflexes.
Bit like Theo on Sunday everyone around me was shouting how useless he was but when you sit back and watch the game again on TV he was probably our best player, people not judging him on the game to game basis they have got this mindset that he is a waste of space and nicking a living from us they don't see the good stuff that he does any more.

You also failed to mention the times Cech did save us points last year, Liverpool at home being just one example.

It is strange how Ospina plays behind a world class defence and Cech plays behind a bunch of amatuers in the eyes of many - despite playing for the same team
A bit like whenever Koscielny facks up and costs us goals it is Mertesackers fault
Or how Giroud is at fault for Alexis losing possession 75% of the time he gets the ball

Some players are above criticism and some are below praise no matter what. That is just the way it is here.

I'm a huge fan of Ospina. I'm sure for the goals conceded alone he would have done a better job, because in my opinion he is a better shot stopper. However that is all in hindsight.

Cech is the better keeper all round and over the course of a season he is the safer option. Yes, he will one day start to decline, but I don't think he's there yet. The unfortunate thing is that Ospina probably won't be around when he eventually does.
