Well, we did win a televised match at Wembley the previous season, admittedly not a league fixture but a win none the less! Carlisle wasn't it? - and they gave us a trophy for it.

What the telly people felt sorry for us and gave us a trophy? Blimey, that was a result.

Thing used to be that watching Saints lose was such a normal event that we didn't notice whether it was televised or not. I hope they don't televise our opening game of next season though ....

In terms of league games on sky before the Sheffield Wed game before that it was Burnley in October 2007, where we won 3-2 at Turf Moor. We have won in the JPT on t.v a couple of times against Charlton and in the final.

Yes we broke the Sky jinx for a league match last season, the next jinx we have to break is winning on the first day, hopefully against the Skates...
