Lars is a funny one, he scored a load of goals before we signed him and then 14 in 36 in the Dutch top division last season on loan. Maybe he has struggled to settle in the style of the Championship, maybe the quality of teams even in the Dutch top division is varied and often worse than this level or maybe the tactics haven't suited him.

Some fans call him one of the worst strikers we've ever had, but then again we're not the best at having a target for annoyances from some of our fan base.

Hopefully the head coach will make the right judgement call, part of me thinks though better backup/option than Blackstock up front.

Please do that super, apparently Fawaz has taken a new part time temporary job that won't affect him with us; but this investment has been drawn out that long I can't believe it's the football league holding it up

I'm with Len on this one. Think there is a player in there looking at that finish at Millwall. Can't be easy trying to settle into a foreign country and the fact he was in double figures again last season in Holland shows he may be a bit of home bird (quality level of the Dutch league not withstanding).

It would really help take the strain off Assombalonga a bit if Lord Lars turned the corner and really gained some confidence. I haven't been massively convinced from what I have seen but if he can toughen up a bit more he may find he can cope with the physicality of the champ.

On a separate note, took best part of an hour to queue for tickets this morning at Forest. No wonder crowds are dropping. More than a few people baulked the queues and left.
