It was pretty well agreed by everyone that Spurs needed to add numbers to the squad, not make it smaller. I swear Spurs are the only team in the world who consider their first XI too good to improve... buying players for the bench is just a bizarre approach. Fine, Spurs did well last year, but that doesn't mean the team can't be improved.

Indeed, and you can see that a number of teams who weren't challenging last season have improved, so Spurs need to as well. As things stand Spurs will do well to make top four.

You need a few players as your bench was woeful Saturday. The good thing is that you're getting good fees for crap players if the Mason and Chadli talk is true.
However when CL hits and it comes to resting players, who've you got? Signings needed in my opinion or you could be way off the pace in the league.
I'm hoping this is where my club pick up points whilst others are resting players. Spurs look the worst placed so for in this eventuality.

Judging by the season so far it's hard not
To consider Janssen and wanyama first 11 players though. Both are doing better than Kane / dier so should be first choice

Meltdown on the Spurs board.
I am one of the few that is really happy with a slimmed down squad. In the main Spurs best players are not sick notes, and most of the first XI players like Kane, Toby, Erikssen, Lamela, Walker, etc are rarely missing or injured, so it really should not be a problem. Far too many squad players can sometimes muddy the water. A good solid squad of 16 or so players should be plenty to survive a Prem CL campaign. The youngsters can play in the cups.

Absolute bollox, Spurs will be fine, Spurs and Leciester both showed last year that with the nucleus of your players playing lots of games, it did not affect their performance level one iota, and both competed at the top end of the table with absolute ease.

If you watched the Liverpool game, which we were very fortunate to draw, you would know that this is not Bolox at all.
This squad is destined for a mid-table position in the prem.
It needs to add at least a top class midfield general, and some real pace up front.

Fair enough for now, but still - 2 players in and how many out?

Leicester had no Europe and you rested players in the Europa rather than the league. That obviously won't happen for the CL, so it will be the league you'll rest players, believe me.
