For all the stick I get on this site for being negative and pi*** off with Daniel Levy and his ridiculous transfer policy all these years, I see a lot of spurs supporters are now really worried and now starting to see the bald shiny one is not all perfect. He is close to ripping up this fantastic squad we have built up before a ball is even kicked in the CL.
There is no sign whatsoever of us signing any class additions and I highly doubt there will be by the end of the window either. Will be the same old s*** with levy prancing around on the last day putting in pathetic installment bids to try and get a top player knowing full well it won't be accepted. So once again he can mug you all off and say " I tried" ....
I'm not a fan of Chadli or even Bentalab but they are still more experienced players than bloody Onamah and Winks ffs!!! Our sub bench is f*** abysmal. Pochettino has already said he wants extra recruitments and feels the squad is light so what the hell are you playing at levy you tight fist. ed cueball headed numpty!!!!?? Selling and making levy profit like he does every summer whilst us fans just accept taking 1 step forward one season then 2 steps back the next. I'm not over reacting here because this pretty much happens every summer. Last season we got incredibly lucky with not signing a single striker to compliment Kane
You better have a plan Daniel Levy and you better have irons in the fire over the next few days because if we end up selling the likes of Chadli, Son etc and end up desperately trying to sign Zaha on deadline day, I will be livid!!!! Pull your finger out levy you pr***!!!
Now can you see?

Boufal was a Mitchell recommendation i think for Spurs. £16m is a good price. Would have suited us.

Since Dembele returned from a foot injury in October last year, he has been Spurs’ most important player, and the statistics prove it. In 23 Premier League games he has started, Spurs have never lost, taking 53 points, an average of 2.3 points per game. Title-winning form. In the 10 games he has missed, including this season’s three, Spurs have taken nine points. 0.9 points per game. Relegation form.
This was in an article in the independent, seems getting Dembele back into the team and firing will be pivotal to our season. With or without new signings.

Naive article.
Fails to acknowledge size of our club financially - turnover is 6th highest in league and way less than Liverpool in 5th.
Proven champions league level players generally want massive wages (more than our current top earners) Even proven premier players are looking a bit out of our range. Bolassie would have fit the bill, I think poch liked him, but suspect we can't pay the wages Everton with their new owners can. We will only pay big(ish) for young talent eg lamela, not just for sell-on but also coz we can get them on relatively low wages.
Priority is to keep our 1st teamers which means significant wage investment on new contracts, and invest the rest in up and coming talent like N'koudou, janssen.
New stadium provides some hope of closing gap on the 5 teams above us financially - arsenal earn about £60million more than us from match day receipts alone. Let's be patient on transfers, and we can enjoy one of the best spurs teams in decades (when dembele's back) in the meantime.
