Not many chances created by Bolton, just cant get behind their defence. Everton had 2 chances and scored, one from a set piece.
Bolton using the long ball later in this half, but nothing happening as usual

The question I ask myself is, Do I comment on the matchday thread on Saturday? At least we don't lose when I am absent/barred.

Well only the league to concentrate on now.

That Bolton side was going to struggle against our U23's who are a tight unit and doing very well. The idea behind letting the U23 squads enter the competition is a good one, the clubs using it as a way to get first team players fit/get games isn't the best. For PL teams the squad should only be able to have two over players over 23 in the match day squad. Look at the Leicester lineup!

With all those record low crowds and FL clubs losing money on the night to help the rich PL sides develop their kids it won't last in the new format.

The other option is to allow PL teams to enter a team into the league similar to some sides in Spain. Not an automatic entry into league two, but having to work the way up the ladder. But again this only works in Spain due to the reduced number of league clubs, would it work in a league structure that contains 92 teams?

Good idea but doubt it with as you say us having 92 clubs. You can smell a two tier system for the elite and another two tier below which would likely be a North/South split back to days of old

What was the score line? Hopefully Bolton smashed this joke team
