I think it's good news all round - more competition in the squad, more depth, hopefully some goals from Perez and some stability at the back from Mustafi. Additionally, Wilshere becomes someone else's liability for the season, maybe even stays fit, gets some games and either comes back better or gains some resale value.
BBC rumour mill says Sturridge is interested in coming to us. Would you have him?

Sturridge is an absolutely class player if he has the right manager. Rodgers got the best out of him. But he is high maintenance. wenger has worked with harder cases. Just look at Adebayor.
But I would be shocked if JJ Henry allowed him to come to Arsenal. No chance in my opinion.
