For the past few weeks we have had all sorts of abuse aimed at Levy re our transfer activity.
Especially, the alleged inactivity..........................well if Sissoko signs for £30m as reported will that appease those moaners?/
I doubt it, because they just like to whinge and bit ch all the time
If Sissoko signs, then I believe it will be for £10m more than we should be paying. Unfortunately this is how things are these days, players being valued and sold for way over their real values
However, having said that he might just show, under Poch's guidance that he can be more consistent in his performances. If this does prove to be the case, then he might indeed be a worthwhile buy.
Going back to my original point, we have now spent around £69m in this window, will this satisfy some of our fans?
Yes of course it will, but there will be still those who will moan it's not good enough.
To these moaners I say, be realistic, we do not have the resources of City, United, Chelsea or even Arsenal and certainly cannot afford to pay the wages these teams throw around easily.
Until we move into our new stadium and start generating bigger revenues, then it will be hand to mouth purchases.
I would call our window very satisfactory, if we could have landed Isco on loan then it would have been an excellent window.
We can now sit back and see how our new acquisitions impact on our performances
Overall, I think Daniel Levy has backed his managers where possible, whilst ensuring that the club is never put at risk. For this he deserves our thanks and not our abuse!

Hope so. At least tomorrow is September which means Harry Kane should start scoring

Testament to Poch and the power he has.
Levy obviously rates him high if he's backing him to the tune of £30m for a 27 year old

Last season we struggled to break teams down, so this window I thought we needed an attacking midfielder, someone who can open teams up, either with pace or vision, Isco seemed the perfect fit (not that I ever thought it would happen).
Now we've sold a few squad players, we actually need a versatile midfielder and Sissoko is certainly that. He isn't by any means world class but he does possess athleticism, the ability to win the ball and run with it. The fact he's played centre, attacking and right mid makes me think he'd be a great addition.

Sissoko didn't suddenly become available at some bargain price yesterday, he was quoted as being available at this price the whole summer. Why wait until the last few hours to do the deal? What took so long for the N'Koudou/N'Jie deal to be done considering the issues with the visas and convincing N'Jie to go was sorted weeks ago?
Levy and his need for his ego to be boosted is the answer. We had some feeble bench for a couple of games because he wouldn't hurry up and get these latter deals done. Clearly held off because he wanted to get in on the deadline day action - at the possible expense of PL points. He's not pulled the wool over my eyes even if he's fooled others. The way some people go on here is as if we should all trust Levy implicitly, why? He's not my facking mother ffs.
So unnecessary from Levy yet again.
