Sky Sports 1 @ 12.15pm on Saturday.
After a frankly cr*p 6-1 drubbing by Norwich in the fortunately under-rated Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday night, Posh will be seeking to make amends; having brought in the excellent Moncur on loan from Barnsley, and the No 3 Tottenham goalie and a Tottenham youngster, again both on loan.
We usually do OK against Swindon, who will not have Ex-Poshie Ajose (now scoring goals for fun at Charlton).
I'm just hoping we don't make a hash of things in front of the TV cameras, as we have done (the WBA game-excepting) in recent seasons.
We have the players, but not the consistency at the moment, so here's hoping that consistency beds in, starting on Saturday.
No predictions (well, maybe 2-1) - UTP, though!

Morning TP , may watch but may be too busy sorting out trips to Bruges atc for champions league.
How are fortunes have changed in recent years. Really hope you get out of league 1 , but think it may be a struggle.
As for us , i just dont care anymore, the memories of May changed my views,it cant get any better.
Champions of Europe maybe!!!

Hi Thorney, long time no speak. RAP is quite right, we are appalling on tv. The last time we were any good was 1995 when we beat Leicester 4-3 to get to the Premiership, before that 1969 beating Arsenal in the League Cup final. So don't worry.
I see you've signed George Moncur, if he's half as good as his dad who was superb for us in the early 90s you'll have a great acquisition.
I think it will be a good game to watch and I think you'll edge it by the odd goal. We're obviously missing Ajose's goals.

Typo...1993 not 1995

(Always) welcome Anfield, and welcome back Don. I hope you're both right, but we have been wobbly at times this season.
Moncur scored 17 goals for Colchester last season, and was a player Barnsley beat us to the signing of, because of their promotion to the Championship; so, hoping for good things from him. He's certainly up for it.
TF, braving a visit to an EU country? Don't worry, it's not run by savages and they don't talk mumbo-jumbo. You'll love it - Bruges is a delightful city, and the chips, other food and beer, are better than in the UK. If you want to borrow my "Vote Remain" T-shirt any time, feel free to pop round

Why have Barnsley loaned out Moncur so soon after signing him? Seems a bit odd.
Anywho, good news for us as a proven League 1 midfield player.
Early signs suggest we are going to be inconsistent this season. Let's hope tomorrow is one of our good days.

Who will be our goalie today in front of the cameras?
Is it too early for Spurs loanee Luke McGee to be introduced, or will Posh stalwart Mark Tyler be granted his 800th career appearance? I know where my heart and mind lie.
It's a shame that full-back Michael Smith will be away on international duty, as he would offer whichever goalie plays good support.
UTP!

I'm pleased with the point

2-2 was a fair result, Don. I thought your team was the more fluent of the two. We, and in particular Paul Taylor, tended to over-complicate our play.
I was pleased with our two on-loan subs.
