Have to agree with Frank on this as well.
Strachan started ok, then went downhill.
The taxi comment from McGhee is unreal!
Playing Fletcher in that team is a joke, he shouldn't be anywhere near that squad and McCormack should.
The problem is by the time we get rid of Strachan, it will be too late and another tournament will have gone away from us. It's going to happen.

Agree McCormack should be in but don't agree we don't score enough. We score 2 goals less than Germany and 3 more than Ireland in the last group. We conceded too many, that was our problem. That and the Georgia game.
International games even against similar or poorer teams are like chess games. You can't just stick two up front and go for broke. Even the biggest teams rarely do that against minnows.
There's a reason Strachan has made a career in management and McAvennie hasn't. Not saying Strachan's perfect and I certainly have reservations about some of his decisions (can't stand McGhee either) but he's done ok, Georgia aside. It doesn't help he has no defence to speak of, regardless of who he picks. And ultimately who would do a better job?
