Was in city centre the day, just round from queen street station and was approached by a big Northern Irish guy looking for any Rangers bars close by. A don't know the city that well n the only one a could think of was the Louden n that was a fair bit away. Was there any close by?

Steps in the closest for sure...certain the Argyle is closed now.....walked in there years ago and got to bar then walked out....all the punters eyes burning in to my back....don't understand why you would want such a biased watering hole.....like a good mix for the banter

Agree totally, mixed pubs are always better and I always try and avoid single team pubs

Annie Miller shut?
I had a pint in there last year Lauders.
It was the Rangers pub that Gers fans were too scared to enter.
It used to open around 5am on the Big Setterday Walk Day in July.
The rozzers knew but dingied it.
Another bit of Glasgow's Rich Tapestry gone.

Quinn - Steven has had a lot of issues with the owners.
No heating and they wouldn't replace - yet they wouldn't enter lease negotiationsl.
Bit poor. Place was falling apart. Can't ask the lease holders to fork out when they have a rolling lease. Pump money in with no guarantee of a chance of a return
