In all seriousness though, what a ridiculous idea this is, will have competition law lawyers foaming at the mouth, how could any organisation, even one as bent as uefa justify giving Porto more prize money for making the group stage than Athletico if they were to go on and finally win it?

Fair enough really. Clubs that take the competition seriously, and go on to win it, should be rewarded.
