Stones, Kolarov, Ottamendi, Sterling, Sagna, De Bruyne - all better players under his guidance.
No fear at Old Trafford.
Impressive.
(P.S I'll bite your hand off for second again!).
Pep Overrated?

The guy just came in in an intense derby occasion and there were probably a few nerves and his defenders didn't always anticipate his distribution. He'll probably be alright when he's settled. Remember De Gea was fodder for the media when he arrived Man U

He must have peppered the goal and scored at least 9!!
=========
No, he missed a lot of chances. But he had a lot of chances.
The fact he only scored 1 from 10 is telling of his performance.
The fact he had 10 chances in the first place is telling of Stones performance

United's only goal came as a gift.
Stones was part of the winning team.
It seems you are just desperate to label Stones a flop.
Let's see how Mustafi will cope when United launch long balls into the 18 yard box.

Did you notice how he moved away from Stones and played off the other guy?
You didn't? It because you are an idiot

So Stones had him in his pocket even though he was on the "other guy"

Stones was poor today. Even his passing was found wanting today when he was put under pressure in the second half

When you don't get a sniff from one defender.....target the other.
That's what Zlat did in second half, when he came into the game. He got no change from stones.
Biggest Jose error of the summer. Him and Smalling would be brilliant

Stones v Otamendi
Tackles = 1 v 5
Interceptions = 2 v 6
Aerial duels won = 1 v 4
How did Stones dominate Ibra? He was intercepting passes to him. He wasn't tackling him. He wasn't beating him in the air.
Ibra was far more effective against Stones than against the far more dominant Otamendi.

*wan't intercepting passes...

Otamendi was better than Stones today. Neither were bad though, more that Otamendis experience and knowledge of the system came through more.

Early days to tell on Pep. City's über-start last season wasn't down to great football. They've not looked consistent enough yet this year, either.
He's still got the best bald-man-with-a-beard trophy sown up, though.
