Great win today and a great way to welcome in a new stand.
Matip was excellent again and is starting to look like he could be one of the best free signings we've ever made. Strong, aerial threat, composed, dominant, and looks a leader at the back. Long may it continue.
Milner was great at left back, with not signing one and Moreno being our only natural left back who's a disaster waiting to happen and clearly not favoured by klopp we needed the Milner experiment to work, today was a massive Step towards that experiment being a success with Milner being solid defensively and good going forward.
Hendo, the lad was quality today. Been a big defender of his as imo he's far better than people give him credit for. Had a horrible injury which kept him out for so long so it was always going to take a while before he started to get back to his best. Today was probably his best performance since our title challenge season, hopefully it's a sign of things to come and not a one off.
Lallana. Finally starting to add goals to his game! The one thing that he's always missed is goals, now he has two for us this season and he bagged one for England mid week. Was a screamer today too.
Mane, he's just electric. And that finish was class.
Sturridge, great to see him back and playing well. Cheeky back heel for manes goal.
Firmino, he's top draw when he's on form, can really terrorise a defence. More of the same please roberto.
Great performance today and hopefully we kick on from here.

Good post Tiddles. Next week will be a better test. Under Conte Chelsea are looking more composed, focused, he's got them on a run. Should be a good game, I hope Emre is back for it, and that Costa plays his usual game.
And gets sent off.

I was really impressed with Matip. Looked like a very imposing figure at the back. He can be a key figure this season.
Good to see Henderson putting on a strong display. Lallana has been excellent under Klopp.
Mane, Sturridge and Firmino will be a very difficult trio to stop for any defense. Not only quality individual players, but they link up very well.

Great win.
Great performance going forward, defensively frail at times but there definite signs of improvement; Lucas' gaffe aside.

My only disappointment is Origi and Ings don't look like they'll get much time on the pitch

Origi will, klopp preferred him to studge last season when both were fit.
Ings on the other hand looks like he will get next to none, which is disappointing.

Yep, lots of positives from yesterday.
Matip is exciting to me, simply because we've been crying out for a CB partnership since the Carra - Hyypia days (Agger and his injuries aside). Matip looks good, hopefully he'll click with Lovren.
Talking of clicking, when Sturridge likes playing with someone it's really, really obvious. He clicked with Suarez (who wouldn't I guess!), liked playing with Sterling and he's showing signs of it with Mane.
Mane has exceeded my expectations thus far, he's looked way better than I thought he would. Too early to draw too many conclusions but good signs.
I'll also admit to being wrong on Lallana. I thought Klopp would be the end for him, not mobile enough. Even when he played last season I thought that when Klopp got his own men in then Adam would be benched at best. He's playing and looking great - long may it continue.

It looks like Mane is well liked and he seems to click with everyone.

Mané has been fantastic and put what I thought of the signing to bed. Yet more mid table mediocrity I thought but no he's been fantastic and proven me wrong which I'm delighted about.
Ings will get more time as the season goes on as he finds fitness I'd hope.

When you consider how good Ings was looking before his injury it really is crazy that we are struggling to give him games. Shows our strength in that area. Really hoping the lad gets a chance and is able to give Klopp a huge selection headache.

Origi has not even got a sniff never mind ings.
Coutinho might have to play lcm shortly
Who knows... theres just a nice bit of competition for the amount of games we have this season there.
We all know about the issues but i think we need to say hey klopps developed something here. I doubt anyone say wijnaldum as lcm in a 433 playing like this.... or lallana starting this well in midfield.
