Jose said that Bailly was our best player against City this weekend.

This suggests that he possibly points the finger more at Blind for the errors that led to the goals.
Should Balling start against Watford?
Balling = Bailly and Smalling
Or should it always be Blind and one other.
Balling

Well, yeah... first one he waited and KDB nicked the ball, second one he was playing Iheanacho onside

He didn't have a good game and didn't even challenge Ihanechao for the header that led to the goal.

Personally I thought he took off our best defender in Luke Shaw.

Shaw was knackered

Fair enough.
Still surprised me though. And considering we took off a defender for an attacking player we didn't put anything like the same pressure on City as we did at the start of the second half

Yeah, he was stretching out about 5 mins before he was taken off...
Valencia was playing very well (weird to type!) again, Shaw was facked and it would have been suicide to take off either of the CBs

Shaw has a hamstring strain !

Ah man
You could see it tbf... he probably needed to come off sooner. Running up and back for nearly an hour will take its toll....

Only Bailly, Ibra, Rooney, Shaw and Valencia weren't in negative territory.
Pogba and Mkhit were not ready, fellaini was just fellaini.
lingard is garbage and will always be garbage (not his fault).
but the real worrying thing is that neither martial nor rashford are good enough, or are of the right kind of 'character', to drag a team out of a hole.
And Herrera is just a pointless, headless chicken, type of waste of space really.
And when i look back to recent squads that included beckham/scholes/keane/giggs/neville/butt/neville, or tevez/rooney/ronaldo/berbatov/rio/scholes/giggs, it just emphasises how sick-looking the current squad has been allowed to become. None of those substitutions (whoever came off) were really gonna change the result. And that is a really serious directional issue for the club.
