Mustafi may eventually settle to give us stability. But he cost £35m. If you ignore Stones, that is very very expensive CB. You just expect a more polished player.

I just hope he settles quickly.

We could have got Mustafi for £25Mil if we went all out at the start of the window. Wenger and the boards dithering cost them in the end.

Plus players prices are out of this world for English teams.

Bit harsh to say Mustafi is chit after what 2 games.. Kos was making mistakes left right and centre when he first came.

I didnt say he was chit. He would be a decent player at a midtable side.

You can wait 2 or 3 years before criticising Mustafi if you want, like you did with walcott, ox, Ramsey or Wenger post 2004. I will continue to call things as i see them. If i am proved wrong then so be it.

Holding seems a steal at the moment.

Vs Man Utd at home.. Bayern at home was a very good counter attack game.

Could have gotten a premier league tested Alderweireld for £12m a couple of years ago if Wenger had the first clue about defence.

Could have got a premier league tested and proven Virgil van dijk for less than we ended up paying for Mustafi this year.

I'm not about to write Mustafi off after two games, but £35m is a ridiculous price for someone who looks like Mustafi has for Valencia and has for us this far.

Wenger doesn't have a clue anymore.
