Where the fack is the control and tempo in our play? That has to be one of the worst performances I've seen! If Mourinho wasn't just an arrogant cant he would get Bastian back in the squad asap and rotate him with Carrick as our deepest midfielder, with Pogba and Herrera in front. I actually have no idea how we are trying to attack.

You want control and tempo? You ain't going to get it with Josie in charge! Big and strong players who can kick it far and jump high are the order of the day for The Pathetic One

Berba
Agree with that. I said earlier that unless Jose removes Rooney and Fellaini from the team these results are going to keep happening.
For all intents and purposes we are really starting these games with ten men.

herrera------pogba
until jose grows the ball to play this cm I would not change my opinions on him. I still think pogba was a silly signing (not that he is a bad player), but at least in this formation he can at least be the best pogba can be

That is the one for me too with Zlatan up front alongside the two form wide men.

You need a Scott Brown or Paul Scholes type of player to dictate games but those kind of players aint cheap.

tbh, I knew this already and was why i did not want him at utd
I am seriously concerned about the direction the club is heading as a fan. The decisions we've made in the last 4 years have gone against what I like as a football fan and what I liked about utd.

For all round grab a game by the scruff of the neck he is the man you need.

One can only hope that is Fellaini's last game for a while. Once Henrik is fit, hopefully that will dictate that the other required change is made....

Not making excuses at all and Watford fully deserved it but sometimes you need breaks in football and we're not getting rub of the green at the moment. Quite easily we could have had pen v City, Feyenoord goal chalked off for offside and Watford first goal called a foul. Our performances this week don't deserve much luck but small things can have a big impact.
Having said that we desperately need a passer in MF. Then we'll see an improvement IMO.

The problem with negative managers is that they start from a position where they have something they want to protect and play the percentages in order to win games. They do this by isolating positions and play and weaknesses in the opposition team. Problem Mourinho has at United is similar to his problems at Chelsea - basically, he has terrible defenders. At Chelsea Terry was his best central defender, aged 34. Azpilicueta, his best full back played on the wrong side. United too have similar problems, you cannot control a match if you leak goals. Apart from that, you lack balance in the centre of the park - no holding player with positional sense, your box-to-box players don't cover and nor do your wide forwards so you are getting overrun in midfield. Pogba is a luxury as he's not a number 10 or a box-to-box player but to incorporate him you have to drop Rooney and play him further forward to make your midfield work. Problem is that neither he nor Rooney are proving effective in the forward areas of the pitch.
