Team News
Midfielder Liam Bridcutt missed Saturday's win at Cardiff due to a foot injury sustained against Rovers in last week's league clash between the two sides at Elland Road.
Head coach Garry Monk is likely to make several changes and the likes of Tyler Denton, who scored on his debut in the previous round at Luton, fellow defenders Liam Cooper and Lewie Coyle, plus midfielders Alex Mowatt and Matt Grimes could return to the starting line-up.
Blackburn
Owen Coyle has confirmed he will make "eight or nine changes" to the side which clinched their first league win of the season against Rotherham on Saturday.
Derrick Williams and Tommie Hoban are both cup-tied and fellow defender Gordon Greer will play no part after sustaining a knock at the weekend.
Danny Graham, Elliott Ward (both ankle), Adam Henley (hamstring), Charlie Mulgrew (calf) and Anthony Stokes (knee) all remain sidelined.
Goalkeeper David Raya will replace Jason Steele and on-loan West Ham midfielder Martin Samuelsen is expected to make his first start for Rovers. There could also be recalls for Liam Feeney and Jack Byrne.

◾Leeds and Blackburn have met four times in the League Cup between 1962 and 2005, with two victories apiece.
◾The two sides meet in the EFL Cup while in the same division for the first time since November 1995 when both were in the Premier League. Leeds won 2-1 en-route to reaching the final.
◾Only Brighton (eight) have scored more goals in this edition of the EFL Cup than Blackburn (seven).
◾Leeds have won six of their last seven League Cup matches at Elland Road. The other was a 5-1 quarter-final defeat by Chelsea in 2012.
◾Blackburn have kept a clean sheet in just one of their last 20 League Cup matches, a round three 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest in 2009.

So, while a Cup Run would be nice , could possibly generate a few bob for the Club (to pay fines ) and would also maintain confidence levels, I can't help feeling we have more important things to worry about but after a confidence building last couple of games i'll go for a 2-0 Scoreline with Roofe and Mowatt Scoring..................

He couldn't miss, well he could as he missed a header from.close range and then bundled it in. We want another crap team. We could barely beat the crap one we played tonight. Northampton at home I guess

Idiots on facebook saying he should have done better with the finish and basically hes still rubbish. He scored for God's sake. We have some idiot keyboard warrior fans sadly.

Good win, pleased for Monk again, think he took a gamble tonight, but some key players rested for the Ipswich game and hopefully a home tie in the next round or trip to the Trafford Centre.
Grimes v pogba, no contest obviously

Good result. Great for team confidence and good for Wood.
Is it me or have articles from certain quarters dried up since we've been winning?

Don't be so hard on poor Pogba - I'm sure he'd be on a par with Grimes if he tried a bit harder!

A win!
I thought O'Kane looked good and he was my MOM.
Coyle did well and there is a player in Roofe - he just needs a goal or two.
Mowatt tired big time second half. Ant works hard but needs a partner up front.
Most of them did OK but until Wood came on it was 0-0 all over.
