Armenia!!!!

Armenia are gonna be really dangerous now. They have just supplanted Slovakia as our main rivals. That match on the Aviva will be tougher to watch than todays. What a point today!!!

As an Arsenal fan I know all about mental strength and those Armenians obviously have it by the bucket load.

I am expecting Arsene to sign their national team in January for a basket of eggs and some copper wire.

In fairness, you lads have to remember this is the same Slovak side that beat Russia last year... in Moscow!!!

Their favoured counter attacking style suits them away from home much better.

They clearly got arrogant after the draw on fridat & Armenia are a handy enough team thesedays as we found out last year.

Still Slovakia will go all out for the win against Russia because if they do they will qualify ahead of them due to better head to head record... this would allow to top the group IF we won our next 2 games.

That should put Ireland in the play offs at least. Richard Dunnes performance alone today was deserving of that. If only we could score the odd goal and get some semblance of control in midfield to go with the heroics in defense, we'd have romped away with this group.

2 games to go,we could win this group or finish 4th, amazing group, little gutted now that it was there for taking but still great chance.

The way this group is going, I wouldn't be surprised if Armenia now go and lose their next game at home to Macedonia.

Hopefully when our attacking players Keane, Doyle and McGeady actually get some game time behind them, we might start scoring again.

Yes Ireland were lucky but we fully deserved the draw as players like Dunne and Given gave truly world class performances.
Dunne played as well as the great Paul mc Grath ever did for us
