Kuyt on Utd & Pogba

"All I heard during the first half against United was Pogba screaming and shouting at his own players," he said after the match.

"And when it was half-time, he was shouting at them all even louder.

"The thing about United is that they only know one way to play. We waited for them to attack and stayed very compact as a team because we knew that if you attack them from the beginning then you run into a knife.

"They love to counter-attack. But, if you stop them doing that, then you know that you will always get chances against them."

One thing I will add though... As an outsider looking in, it might seem odd, but as a UTD fan who has seen littel to no leadership, on the pitch or on the sidelines, for 3 years... Having anyone willing to step up and be "that guy" is refreshing.

As I said earlier, it is clear that plenty of his shouting is aimed at himself anyway, so it is a bit of a non story.

I think it's likely he's a goby cvnt who has had so much smoke blown up his ass that he thinks he can walk into a new dressing room giving it large.

this is exactly how i see it
imagine how inflated his ego most be knowing he walked away from the club for free, talked crap about the great saf and still had utd grovelling for him to join them after bidding record sum.

Nope. i have an issue with us signing him and playing him in a midfield 2. And him being a lazy cvnt

i love (boderline gay) cr7 but also not afraid to admit he is an egotistical piece of work. If we sign him an play him out of position so he is ineffectual i will be equally frustrated

Pogba's shouting may well have been over the top but i don't know as I wasn't on the pitch or in the dressing room.

What I do know though is that Kuyt is a former LFC player who will probably hold the club close to his heart so it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that he could be exaggerating here.

If I were a Liverpool fan (perish the thought!) I would not be minding some wumming of United from a former player one bit.

In any case if any United players think they're above a roasting by any player (new or long term) I'd be questioning them as well. The only thing I'd say is that I'd expect Pogba to take it from someone else if it's merited.

He might be or he might not be but it isn't beyond the realms of possibility really. I'll be honest if the boot was on the other foot I'd probably enjoy what he was saying too.

that is a possibilty
but I saw the game and saw how pogba was directing his frustrations at his teammates on the pitch. For me it was unhealthy never mind what went on in the dressing room.

shouting does not equal leadership, in fact it takes a very special type of person to motivate others simply by shouting at them.

repogba transfer
one other thing I pointed out in the summer is who ever signed pogba will end up with an unbalanced squad.

madrid had casemero kroos and modric as a midfield 3, had they signed pogba they would have had to sacrifice one. Sacrificing casemerio would have disrupted their balance #justsayin
