Why is nobody pushing this idea?
1) At 6'3''/6'4'' he is our tallest player
2) Our midfield has loads of options without him
3) Our centre-backs have been dodgy for months
4) Crooks has often played at centre-back
Seems a no-brainer to me but haven't heard Warbs speaking about it

He's played centre half before and by all accounts performed woefully from the reports.
He's a midfielder, so play him there. Perhaps the board should be true to their word (I severely doubt that as they are just as bad as previous) and invest for some quality centre halves.
Till then, leave Crooks in his natural position and just hope that the duds we have there don't cost us too much.
