Maf's team West Ham losing to Romanian team Astra Giurgiu in Europa League with 8,500 stadium capacity.

Only trophy they've won since 1980 is Intertoto Cup.

Well I have some sympathy for them, despite their fans' attack on our team bus last season.

They must really be missing their old ground right now and it's sad to see. Arsenal struggled to adapt to the Emirates, too, and have not won the league since moving there.

Might be a cautionary tale for Spurs fans. Sometimes you don't know what you got till it's gone. West Ham have paved paradise and put up a shooting range for their opponents and a boxing ring for their own fans.

Jalisco

West Ham knew full well that the running track would HAVE to remain when they took on the OS. They knew that the supporters would be miles away from the pitch creating a poor atmosphere.

Tottenham's new stadium is designed to have the supporters right next to the pitch. Yes we will miss the old WHL but the basically we are learning from the mistakes Arsenal and West Ham have made.

Spurs are basically moving about 10 yards up the road, so I doubt it will make the slightest difference.

Hope you're right, sandy.

It's a shame seeing all these clubs leaving their old grounds though. Soon(ish), London's four biggest clubs will all be playing in new stadiums, and all that history will be just that: history.

I'd be gutted if United were ever to leave Old Trafford.

Have you ever been to that manor? Paradise it ain't. Even the Syrian's think it's a bit rough.

No, I never did go, to my lasting regret.

I'm sure the area around Celtic Park isn't exactly Kensington or Koh Samui, but to them it's Paradise 😊

I suppose we all have to move on mate. To be honest WHL is nothing like It used to be when I first visited the ground nearly 60 years back, when both Park Lane and Paxton Road where two huge bankings of terraces, no seats, and the shelf stood watch over both ends, still could cram in nearly 68,000 back then. There used to be terraced houses as well on a couple of corners of the ground, where supporters used to park their bikes for a small fee as I remember.

The good old days.
