Comes to something when a Red Dog breaks the news on JA 606 regarding our manager.......... So well done Rev
Chrrisy P in charge as all that my contact told me this morning has come to fruition. Will we win now?
Derby look like a team desperately short on confidence and to be honest, I cannot see where a win will come from. After today's events, will there be a 'bounce back'? Anyone could see that the players were not playing for NP, let's hope that one mans arrogance (?) has not torn the heart out of our team?
Maybe tonight's match is secondary. It will interesting to how we react. There isn't really a blueprint for this or is there???? Ipswich anyone?
Team news:-
Carson,
Christie,
Keogh (C),
Anya, Ince,
Johnson,
Pearce,
Butterfield,
Hughes,
Vydra,
Lowe
Substitutes: Mitchell, Russell, Bent, Baird, Wilson, Blackman, Weimann

Well I'm up again now. A very professional performance under the circumstances. The longer the game went on the better we were. Johnson made a big difference, not that he did anything spectacular but his presence meant that Hughes and Butters could get much further up the pitch where they became influential by getting close to the attacking players.
I thought Ince was easily our worst player until he scored and then he came to life. It was as if new life had been breathed into him. Vydra was ineffective throughout and doesn't look as though he likes playing on his own up front though.
Lowe was a revelation. Confident throughout, even doing some tricks on the ball, making tackles and getting forward well. He was man of the match by a mile.
Cardiff are utterly crap, mind.

Got a message of someone who played for Powell at Charlton and he said he would be a good appointment and has great man manager skills

Not surprised to hear that Griff, he has always come across as a genuinely nice guy
