From his insightful and "delusional" article, one of many he entertained us with over the years:
"12:30 kick of on Sat...we could second in the table but unfortunately wont close the gap on City as they will probably batter spurs."

GB. I told in my comment there: go back to your meds, you seem to need them
Onwards and upwards
Spurs are the ONLY UNBEATEN SIDE now
And the good news is? We haven't even clicked into top gear

Leicester and Chelsea are rubbish and Middlesbrough and Stoke are good.
Getting the hang of this now.

So Leicester finishing first last season doesn't count but Chelsea finishing 13th does. Hull are a joke but Stoke are good.
The world according to the massive belļend Sandy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Leicester have lost as many games this season as they lot all last season....so clearly not the force they were. the fact they are Champions means nothing.
Chelsea have played no one of note except Arsenal and LFC and where comfortably beaten. They have had manager crisis talks already. Judge them on what they are, which is currently a team far from the quality of the past and nowhere near the quality of the current top 4.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When we played Chelsea they'd won 3 and drawn 1 of their games, and that should really have been 4 wins as one of the Swansea goals was a definite foul on Cahill. Confidence was high and they were at home.
They've still only lost to us and Arsenal (away - a tricky game). The scrutiny they've been under is largely due to a couple of errors in defence and I think this seemingly accepted view that they're not a force this year is very premature. Can't really understand why people are writing them off. Granted they probably won't win the league but they'll be in or around top 4.
Could it be you're trying to take the shine off Liverpool's win there? Something you actually took exception to when a poster did that with your win....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Cant take the shine off your win because you took them apart....an impressive performance whoever the opposition.
I am not that impressed with Chelsea so far. They look disjointed as a team and poor at the back. They have been bit lucky in some games - Costa scoring late winners after he could/should have seen . They might well improve but they are not currently what we have come to expect from a Chelsea team....not that much better than last season IMO.

Costa has always walked a fine line but he's looking hungry and scoring again.
Personally I think defensive lapses are costing them at the moment, both in terms of confidence and points. Chelsea teams of old were confident 1 goals would probably be enough and that's not there anymore.
If Conte can get the defence sorted then I think they'll be a force. Costa is firing, Hazard at least looks interested and they have Kante - all reasons they're better than last season imo.

Before he arrived i had 2 question marks about his apppointment.
Firstly, he is one of those managers like Klopp & Poch where players have to work very hard and buy in to his philosophy. We have seen player revolts at CFC before and Conte methods will not be liked by everyone. There are too many players in the squad who do not always put in the hard yards and in this system all need to be at it or the system fails.
Secondly, I have not seen much of his time at Juve, but certainly for Italy his style was more of a defensive approach with counter attacking. That Italy squad lacked a bit of quality but had tonnes of character and spirit. I am not sure that such a style can really threaten the very top of this league and again, does he have a team and a club which can be moulded to his ideals. Not sure he does and whether he will be allowed the time that Klopp and Poch will get to get their ideas across....would Roman accept 8th place in season 1, will he even accept 5th place.

Chelsea have Leicester(h), United(h), Saints(a), Boro(a), Everton(h) and Spurs(h) coming up in the next couple months.
If they lose 2 or more of those i could seriously see Conte getting sacked.

Genuinely can't see Conte getting sacked this season irrespective. He's not a mystery, you know what you get and if Roman brought him in then I'd say he must be trying to address the attitude issues. Got to let him do that over a bit of time. Won't get two seasons but think he'll get one.
His Juve team were excellent but they had Pogba (who despite current evidence is a great player), Vidal and Pirlo. Not a bad midfield!

Chelsea are running out of managers. I hear Sherwood is available if they sack conte
