Not good to see that vs City. Don't know who was on penalty duty and therefore which one was out of order. It wont be Lamela next time
Totally expect Poch to sort it out though. He is a disciplinarian and wont stand for this. Hopefully it wont cause any issues in the dressing room.
It was the only blemish on an otherwise perfect performance.

There would always be a dedicatyed pen taker as far as I know.
We'd an issue last season or season before, anyway Mario took the ball and scored but he wasn't the pen taker, didn't look good Henderson should have take control of that situation.
I'd imagine it won't happen again can't see Poch standing for it.

one thing that also struck me about the pen was that Fernando or Fernandinho (? cant tell them apart) hacked down Alli from behind, a deliberate chop.
Now i know that the whole triple jeopardy thing of red/pen/suspension is an overly severe punishment but he deserved a yellow at least because it was not an attempt to get the ball at all.
Thought the ref was poor over all. Some very petty fouls given and very inconsistent with his cards. Stopped us playing quick free kicks.... and he changed his shirt at half time, the diva

There must be a dedicated pen taker?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
kane I suppose.
in his absence then if we hadn't sorted it then that's amateurish.
captain should have stepped in to resolve , lloris in this case, although lloris shouldn't be captain.
Toby A should be captain of this club,
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lloris was up the other end of the pitch, I doubt he would've seen what was going on.

Surely they have instructions prior to a game on an important issue like penalties?
If not, and that’s a big if as well, Lloris should have passed his orders up field. Any one of the players could claim the ball as his, doesn’t make sense there were no team orders. On the flip side, it could be that Poch forgot to tell players, not like he didn’t have enough to think about on the day…
I have a question for any refs out there.
Arsenals goal against Burnley.
Is there any precedence on a player being in an offside position by accident? I am arguing with someone (Sunday league ref) who says Kolcielny wasn’t interfering with play and it was accidental hand ball and that the ball was going in anyway so the offside component is offset?
Not sure how an opposition player* can stand a yard from the goal line, behind the last defender, not interfere with play and deflect the ball into the net with his arm? Hence my serious question, can a player be offside by accident?
*Not injured or prone

Replays showed that Ox didn't make any contact from Walcott's header which meant Koscielny was onside. It was a very good spot from the officials who I initially thought had an absolute shocker on that goal..... however he's inadvertently diverted the ball into the goal with his hands so it has to be handball. The ball was going over until it hit his hands which were in an unnatural position so the goal shouldn't have stood

Poch said they sort it out themselves in Kane's absence, and he understood why they squabbled.
I do not believe a word of it . Someone will be getting a barrelful for that.....in private
