Only watched your second half, but thought Vertonghen was comfortably better.

Unbelievable PL defender, but it's a push to say he would play for every side in the world...

He was a bench player for Atleti, and being a CB for those calibre of clubs is a different kettle of fish

Opinions I guess. Was a lot more impressed with Vertonghen's robust performance and though City caused Toby more problems.

Was regularly posting while I was working but I'm at uni now 👍

No doubt I'll be frequent on here again during exam period

Alderweireld would walk in to any Prem side, quite comfortably.

To think some were putting Smalling down as the best CB this time last year .
