Sick of reading/hearing about Celtic joining the English Premiership.

I wish our leaders and the media would stop touting us like a 2 bob hooker that would sell our soul for a few shekels.
Nothing against the English league, but its the English league and we're Scottish. We play in Scotland and our history is as a Scottish team. I don't know how we would fare if we miraculously moved to enhance a foreign league, we could end up being Man Utd or we could end up being Leeds Utd, either way we would no longer be Celtic, we'd be a franchise.
Am I alone in cringing when this is brought up?

If Scotland gets independance, that will stop all the 'speculation' and conjecture once and for all. Not that it is ever likely to happen anyway.
The ironic thing is, the majority of those who follow Celtic are those who want to break away from Britain! How funny is that?

I'd love to see Celtic in the Premier League. It would be excellent. I don't see why you couldn't have two teams, one for the Scottish league and one for the EPL. That way the integrity of Scottish football would be maintained. It probably wouldn't be okay if you received millions from the EPL and used it to win the Scots league over and over though. Probably have to keep them separate,
