How do people see this game panning out?
I think we've got a lot of reasons to be confident considering our form and Klopp/Liverpool's record against big sides. I feel that our midfield and attack will overwhelm them, especially with a rocking Anfield atmosphere. Our defence looks stronger in the last few games but then we only have to look at the chance for Swansea in the dying minutes to see that we are always vulnerable. We have a bit of a buffer points wise to absorb a loss if it comes to that too.
Looking at United, their last 2 league games featured an unchanged lineup and they look reasonably fluid in attack. It's going to be quite different in this game for them as I don't think you can play that midfield against the interchange of movement, quick passing and pressing of Liverpool right now. I think Jose will have learnt a lesson from the first half against City and will play a more compact midfield and look to hit Liverpool with balls over the top and at set pieces.
Here's hoping we don't see any injuries from this international break. I'm going for a Jose special in negative football and a narrow Liverpool win.
