According to Frank Warren anyway and I'm entitled to think he has a point.

Joseph Parker is number 1 contender for the IBF and WBO (should it become vacant) belts whereas Wlad is only number 2 contender for the WBO belt and apparently unranked for the IBF belt.
Hopefully Joshua vs Wlad can happen sometime in the future but I'm inclined to believe that these two won't be fighting each other next, as much as I want to see it. For the moment it's just hype.
It's not all bad news though because despite Parker supposedly being lined up to fight Andy Ruiz next if AJ vs Parker can get made instead then it will be a very good fight I suspect.
Joshua vs Klitschko won't happen next.

AJ isn't ready for Klit IMO, Parker would be a real test for AJ right now.

Yeah I'm inclined to agree with this. I don't think that Joshua is quite ready for Wlad at this point. Wlad wins if they fight now. He's been a Champion for over a decade and has all the experience that AJ lacks and that's one reason why I don't think this fight will happen as I said in my OP.

Fack Femi the media trained hype job. Wlad would jab him to death and Parker is a 50-50 fight. Parker has movement and faster hands. Any mover in the ring with Femi will give him trouble.

Still no announcement though.

Just waiting on confirmation from the sanctioning bodies to see who is willing to offer up their titles.
Can see one of them hanging on to their title so that Parker or someone else can fight for it which would line up a unification fight later down the line.

Let's see, I can still see this deal falling apart at the final hurdle. We still don't know which belts will be on the line apart from Joshua's IBF strap obviously and I think that will be pivotal as to whether this deal gets over the line.

Just as I said yesterday:

I'm still sticking to my guns that this fight doesn't happen.
