Former City stalwart Gerry Gow finally succumbed to cancer today after battling the disease, in much the same way he did opponents on the field - with tenacity, heart & soul.
He was a City blue for a relatively brief period, but always a 100% player who made a difference in difficult times, appearing at Wembley in the 100th FA Cup Final in 1981 against Spurs.
Thank you for the memories Double G, you'll be remembered by many of a generation
