US presidential election 2016

I don't normally post about politics on this but after watching the second debate I think this is something worthy of discussion. The fact that either Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton could be the president of a country with so much power and control over the rest of the world is terrifying. I will just list a few of both candidates many scandals.

Donald Trump

- Describing Mexicans as rapists and drug dealers as well as wanting to build a wall around the whole of the Mexican/American border.
- Wanting to ban all Muslims from entering the country due to their religious beliefs
- Boasting about being able to grope women if he wanted to.
- Many former employees have suggested he felt uncomfortable about having black employees near the front of the hotel, clear evidence of his racist beliefs.

Hilary Clinton

- Strong history of homophobic and racist beliefs . Was strongly opposed to Gay Marriage until 2010 and stated in many interviews before that why gay marriage was wrong. She also used racial slang to describe young black men as 'super predators'.

- Very anti womens rights. Has a history of helping Bill Clinton getting away with several assaults through threatening behaviour towards her husbands victims and helping him to portray them as the people in the wrong. She also made a 12 year old girls life a living hell when defending a man who raped her and a conversation has been leaked of Clinton laughing at the poor girls expense.

- A history of changing opinions to suit different crowds as well as a strong history of corruption. For example she has been quoted as saying that it's okay to have different publicly and privately. In 1994 she was against the Bankruptcy bill which highly benefited the banks however changed her mind after the Banks gave her a lot of money to run for senate. She has so far borrowed well over 20 million dollars from banks for her campaign.


-Accidentally leaking official government secrets and then lying under oath.

- Refused to provide extra security in Bengazhi even though she was warned of an incoming terrorist attack, resulting in the deaths of 4 Americans. Instead of apologising to the families of the victims, she lied several times under oath.

- Supporter of Iraq war.

I want to feel sorry for the Americans but at the end of the day they did have three options. A man who thinks for only himself, a women who only thinks for the big organisations or a human being who thinks about everyone ( Bernie Sanders ). Why do our governments continue to have such strong links with this country when it has forever been devoid of humane values.
