Anyone know where we are playing our home games in the above competition? Will they be at the bridge?

Hopefully no one Will turn up. It's an absolute disgrace opening the competition up to the U21 teams of the big clubs!

Another way of looking at it...is it's a good way for youth to test themselves against men early, which wouldn't happen (unless on loan).
Can definitely see why club opted to enter into the competition and with good reason
I mean what else do the 17 year old+ boys (development squad) really have to achieve playing at youth level?
Level at which youth have pretty much dominated for years.
Not much else to learn/achieve at kid level.

Youth need taster to prepare for full-time senior football eventually.

That's not really the point in question mf. It was a competition that gives the chance of fans like Gillingham or Scunthorpe 5he possibility of a day out at Wembley and has now been hijacked by some big clubs. Don't forget the rules of U21 football allow for over age players, hence some clubs have been using it to give minutes to seasoned experienced professionals minutes to gain match fitness. Hardly surprising fans of lower league teams have been boycotting it.
