So tomorrow will see the meeting for the first time of arguably the most charismatic and volatile head coach in the league with the steady and dull as ditch water Steve Potato Head Bruce.
We should have answers to the questions going through the minds of both sets of fans:
Has Zenga learned from previous mistakes?
Has Bruce managed to instill any life into his lacklustre team in just 2 days?
Will Zenga play an unchanged side or go for his favoured squad rotation option?
Will the Villa players show some fight for their new boss?
Will Zenga be brave enough to start Bodvarsson and Dicko?
Will Wolves play for 90+ minutes or as usual, start slowly, concede a goal and play catch up for the remainder of the game?
For me this fixture has draw written all over it but to be honest if it is a draw I will be a little disappointed. We have to take advantage of teams who are at a low ebb and dominate them. Villa will undoubtedly improve under the guidance of Steve Bruce and we should take the opportunity to grab 3 points tomorrow whilst we can.

Villa's problem overall hasn't been being lacklustre; it's players being sent out without a clear plan in place. 3 matches ago against Newcastle we had a great second half. Bruce needs to have made it clear to the team what the plan is, and also what the backup plans are. If he's managed to do that in the couple of days he's had in charge, we stand a good chance.
Don't think it's going to be a walkover for either team. Should be a good match; should be a close one.

Strange game.
Both teams good enough to be in the top six.
But Wolves are more or less mid-table thanks to the incompetence of WalterWanka.
And Villa are almost in the relegation zone thanks to the incompetence of DiMatteo.
On balance if Villa have a more balanced line-up and realise they also need to defend... they should win.

I think both teams will improve their league positions over the next few months. Will be a close game today, and I expect Bruce will get some more out of Villa but Wolves have lost their last two games without Bodvarsson who will be back today and he makes a massive difference. A draw is the probable result but if either team wins I think it will be Wolves

Wolves are more or less mid table it's true but not entirely due to incompetence of the coach. Walter arrived in the UK having never coached here before and was handed a challenge which few managers would have taken on. He was brought into the club immediately after the takeover prior to which nothing happened for weeks except for the purchase of a back-up goalkeeper. He was then given a bunch of players, most of whom under performed last season and then was inundated with foreign players who had never played in England before let alone in the Championship. He had no pre-season in which to get a settled side that he was happy with and then added to that, the new owners made it clear that they expected promotion to the Prem sooner rather than later. No pressure there then!
Walter's methods may be a bit unorthodox but the players love him and he has the south bank singing again. Some of the results have been disappointing but others have been amazing, Newcastle and Birmingham in particular so no, he hasn't got all his bottles in a row yet but he's getting there and to describe him as incompetent is certainly unfair.

basically gem you're saying he hasn't been here long enough, give him more time,
the problem there is that the longer he's been here the worse our defence gets.

Wolfgang he only has 6 defenders to choose from. Batth, Stearman, Iorfa, Hause, Borthwick-Jackson and Silvio. 7 if he brings EEL back from loan. Of those 6 he has to play 4 and until January he doesn't have any other choices. Personally I would play Doherty, Stearman and Iorfa/Silvio across the back with Saiss in front of them and a 4 man midfield.
Basically what I'm saying is that you can only písss with the cocck you've got!
