So Jose deems it a good team effort to defend to the point where Utd had their lowest team posession in the Premier era (35%) .... in other words 'parking the bus'..... this being the same guy whose vocal hatred for sides that did the same against his Chelsea team on soooo many occasions!!!
Id rather watch Liverpools exciting play any day over that dour Utd display ... enjoy your long, boring season Utd fans!!!

The way I look at it is, when you don't deserve more than a point you have to be happy with a point. That's why I've decided to come into work today to sit with my two scouse colleagues. No doubt the moment they walk through the door it'll be "Mourinho this, Fellaini that!"

An early Xmas miracle!
When he lost it for a moment and tried to scythe down one of your players before kicking the ball away I thought "here we go..."

I think next league games for both teams will reveal alot. will Mourinho go defensive away to chelsea and will liverpool be able to break down wba who will set up the same way. I think negative results for both teams on those games will reveal a probable pattern for the rest of the season with nearly 10 games gone

I don't like the style but I think comparisons to Fat Sam and Pulis do Mourinho a disservice actually. For him it's all about controlling a game whether that's packing a midfield, giving away little fouls or being slow to get the ball back into play. All about playing on his terms.
It doesn't make for a great spectacle but there's more to his game plans that wack it to Ibra and defend deep.

There's a familiar feel to this season as a United fan. We saw it a lot under van Gaal; expecting it to click and see us shoot up the table. Never materialised though. There are definite similarities, and I think there are 5 better teams - not squads - in the league, City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool.
I think that with everyone fit, on paper, the only team obviously stronger than us is City. Honestly, I will be more than happy just to finish fourth this season.

I actually quite enjoyed the game. It was tense and absorbing despite lacking action. I don't know why anyone thought we would blow United away. We have played some good football this season but we're hardly Barcelona - and even they would have some difficulty breaking an organized United team down.

I keep having this conversation with people saying it was the most boring game of football ever, parking the bus blah blah blah... I found it enthralling, tense and with a nice edge to it

I agree to an extent, it was a bit of a chess game and that in itself is interesting - one team posing a challenge and the other having to respond.
I wouldn't say it was enthralling though

OK, maybe enthralling was a bit sensationalist!
But I felt tense and enjoyed the ebb and flow.
