Will Nico Rosberg clinch the world title, at the same track he lost it last year, or will a gust of wind blow him off course?
QUALIFYING UPDATE: Great pole for Hamilton 1:34.999, setting a new lap record. Niki and Toto must be worried! Although we did hear Lewis reporting a gearbox issue over the radio !

Joleon Palmer. Hate to say it, but not good enough.

Makes one wonder does it not. Will go back and look at his history and see how much of an influence his dad's money had in the lower formulae

Rosberg cannot win the title at this event if Hamilton competes in all the following races. (Time for Mercedes to come up with a two race ban!)
With 33 points lead Rosberg could get another 25 giving him a lead, if Hamilton fails to score, of 58 points.
There are still three races to go after USA so 75 points will still be available.
Hamilton did not set a new lap record, they can only be set in races.
He set a new qualifying record, absolute record, whatever, but not a lap record.
Well, if he hadn't Rosberg would have. It is like that when 2 good drivers have the best car.
Now Hamilton needs to keep cool for the race.
Just get in the car and do the job, no ego show, no gubbering everybody about.
Just drive the damned thing!
Like we all know he can!

Rosberg has just had two strikes of luck: Verstappen engine failure and passing Ricciardo under VSC. It's his year.

""Well, that told me!""
Apologies if it all came across as finger-wagging. I was hoping to provide useful information, not a lecture.
BTW, that was a classic Hamilton win. Another 50 of those will be fine.
