Not that it matters now but how was that West Brom goal not offside.
When the player pokes it into the net. There is another West Brom player stood right in front of Karius and ahead of the ball in what looks to be looks to be in an offside position.
They didn't replay it from a wide angle but it looks as though Milner was our last man and there was no one on the posts.

I think they were too busy highlighting the terrible way we defend set pieces which we do defend terribly by the way.

Hardly surprising, we've had terrible offside decisions from officials for years and years now.

In all fairness, the wba player in front of Karius makes no difference there. The shot comes from about 3 feet out - no chance Karius is going to save it. So to say it "interfered" with play is stretching reality a bit for me.

Not really the point though. It makes no difference but he was offside. Whether the keeper would have saved it without him does matter to that decision.

That gives a decent view of the goal, and without doubt one of the three WBA players in an 'offside' position is interfering with play by blocking Karius's path. It's not even that difficult to spot, so pretty poor officiating.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's my thought and you can't say he wasn't active given Karius collided with him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The only possible caveat that I can see is that Karius rushed off his line towards the player in an offside position. But he was still in line with the shooter and keeper, so surely interfering with play?
It's disappointing that they didn't pick up on it on MOTD. They rarely do with any game. It's the perfect opportunity to bring up mistakes, otherwise how can we expect things to improve?

They are always ignored unless the officials do their job correctly and give offside.
Similar situation last Monday when Can had that scrambled shot that DDG saved. Firmino, in an offside position, ran across the keepers path as the shot came in. Should have been flagged off but wasn't. It would have wrongly counted had it gone in.

Ah well there you go. A prime example of decisions
evening themselves out. More than even as West Brom's offside led to a goal.
Will you stop banging on about Firmino's offside, that only you have seen, now?

Banging on? Mentioned it the other day when it was relevant to the discussion, mentioned it in this thread, as it was an example to back up what the OP was saying.

Don't get why you're still on about it. It didn't lead to a goal or disadvantage United. It's been nearly a week. Time to move on.
