I enjoy a laugh when they lose, but last night they really surpassed themselves.
A Sunday pub team could have done better

Why do you enjoy a laugh when another Country loses
could it be because you are xenophobic or just a bitter
bhigot. Northern Ireland, England, Wales, Republic of Ireland or any other Country for that matter. Their results are insignificant. The important matter is how Scotland fare. I bet you sit every European Championship and World Cup supporting everybody but England.

Not the best post I've read, you do realise McCourt & McGinn are members of this squad with McGinn playing last night?
Don't see why NI getting beat is a source of pleasure.

Maybe this video explains why NI is not liked.

PontiusP. Went to see NI play once at Windsor Park (25 years ago). Was never as glad to get out of a place in my life. Judging by their behaviour in Dublin recently not much has changed. Why should I support NI when that's still going on.

I like seeing NI getting beat because of how Neil Lennon was treated just for leaving Leicester and also because my ex-wife was from there and she was the most bigoted person i've ever met
So, which "small-minded" category does this put me in?

It's a sad, bigoted little artificial statelet, with fans to match.
Good result in Moscow for the Republic, though

Hampden,
I'm with ya on this one. You cant blame Paddy or Niall wanting to play International football, they're just not good enough for the ROI. Will never forget Billy Bingham celebrating when he thought he prevented us qualifying for the world cup, then Alan McLaughling scored a stunning volley to put us through.
How did it take Paddy so long to get his first start when he was tearing up thr place when he played for Derry City?
