I love Pep and his style, I love the fact we play the right way and our defenders play it out from the back even if it has cost us recently....i'm sure over time they will gain more confidence and understanding with eachother and the mistakes will be rare.
But what really annoyed me yesterday was the fact nobody seems to have the balls to shoot anymore even in the box, countless times it fell to us and instead of shooting everybody seemed to just take a touch and try and walk the ball in or head towards the byline to cut it across goal....Reminded me of Arsenal a few of years back!!
Seems to me Pep has made the players too scared to shoot reducing the chances of a lucky break or rebound of the defender which sometimes against organised sides like Southampton you need....Frank Lampard made a carrer out of it for christ sake!!

So bored of peps style now tbh, must be good as a fan for his club but sucks all life out of games. Glad Celtic ruffled feathers and now prem teams are taking notes if not you could have gone unscathed and killed teams with your passing.

Pretty naïve comment. City are nowhere near as good at Barcelona and are clearly still adapting to Pep's style of play. Players like Gundogan are still bedding in.
To be honest though the following is something I have noticed about City since the days of Mancini, which still hasn't changed: When they play at a high tempo they are near impossible to live with, but they only seem to play at a high tempo in short bursts (much shorter bursts than, for example, Utd under Fergie or Liverpool under Klopp) and spend most of the game playing at a more pedestrian pace that good teams are able to live with

The Arsenal 2008 side was more dangerous. I know it was like a friendly today due to weakened side but Arsenal 2008 side was just full of bottlers but they on the day were very strong.
