With the 3-4-3 flourishing so far do we have enough cover in the squad to maintain this system pending injuries?
Only glaring concern for me now is the lack of cover for Alonso and Kante. Alonso has given us some much needed balance which Hazard has profited from. Unless Conte delves into the academy or recalls Kennedy or Baba, we don't have a natural LB/LWB back up.
Make no surprise an injury to Kante and we would be feecked. Can't think of many players in our squad let alone in the league who could replicate this guys industry.
Fairly confident we have enough cover for the back 3 in Zouma (who over time you'd expect to be starting) Ivan and JT.
While Moses has been a revelation I think we can cope - whether Aina can do a job, I'm unsure as I haven't seen much of him but the lad sounds promising. Or could we even recall Cuadrado back from Juve? Surely he'd be tailor made for RWB...
With Matic I think we'll see more of Chalobah - Conte clearly rates the kid based on his game time so fingers crossed for him. Whilst I've been underwhelmed with Oscar progress at the club, I feel he could offer an option in CM with his all round energy and high pressing.
Looking forward to seeing more of Batyshuai over the season. Matter of time before Costa serves his suspension so the lad will have his chances.
In attack I think Pedro, Willian and Hazard can rotate whilst all getting sufficient game time.
Does Conte have enough in the squad to last until Jan transfer? Either way our favourable fixture list should ensure players don't burn out.

Cuad has gone on a permanent deal to Juve. Could possibly recall either Baba or Kenedy or go into January market, whereas Aina is a LB not a wingback.

Aina s a right back, by trade all throughout academy, and an attacking one so given opportunity to play rwb then I don't think he d disappoint,
It's when one of our center backs gets injured, it's when we might struggle out loud, confident in cover for kante if needed, chalobah has been great,

True that we don't have a natural replacement to Alonso and we have two excellent candidates to do that on loan in Kennedy and Baba. Dunno where Conte wants to play Willian in this (wing back or forward) but if Alonso was out Willian may have to go there.
For Moses Willian is again an option. I really like Aina and think he could do a job there, so comfy on the ball and an athlete. I wouldn't really wanna see Azpi there. On left or right his strength is in defence and in a 3 at back formation he's better at CB for me

It's a squad not equipped to play 3-4-3, without the signings of Alonso & Luiz it would've been impossible, but it's worth sticking with and building on to go into next season if it's the formation Conte is most comfortable using.
I know the idea of playing the long game doesn't really apply with Abramovich, but I'd persist with this formation even if it forces us to pick youth players when cover is required. Going from a 3-4-3 to any 4 and the back formation on the whims of an injury/suspension, etc... will destabilize the squad. Stick with it, make a few choice signings in January, July & August and be ready to go into next season with a squad of players fully versed in it.
The 4-2-3-1's time is fading out. Time to get ahead of the game and push something different, and among our best players the 3-4-3 only alienates Fabregas.

One things for sure, moses even deserves a couple poor games and to keep his place. He should have nailed down that spot now,
