I have always advocated playing the strongest possible XI in every competition. I continually got shouted down on that one. It is patently obvious that the squad players last two or three years are never going to win a cup competition, so the only way that Spurs will win a cup competition is to play the first XI, is that what our supporters want on here, I don't think so.

I don't even think we need to play our strongest XI, just a strong XI would have seen off that lot.

We got the early day cup fixture, plenty of days rest, no excuse about air miles, big mistake tonight.

Poch is best man for the hot seat but he does make some basic mistakes in the job.

Every sane supporter knows that finishing top four and CL footie is where it is at. For supporters to live in denial, and say otherwise, they need to take up another sport. This ain't the 20th century now where the domestic cups were kings.

Sandy only last season you were saying players should never be rotated, that sports science wasn't a thing and that Spurs should play the strongest 11 in every game.

I still say that rotation never works, the team that wins the Mickey mouse cup will eventually have to field their full strength side.

Er Spurs have won three European trophies, you sound like a supporter that knows SFA about anything to do with football.

Going on about history again sandy?

For me it is not about winning any cups. You need lots of luck to win one.

It's the performances we put out. Under poch we are atrocious. come the weekend we can look like world beaters again I don't get it.
