Qualification Criteria
The top 32 players from the European Tour Order of Merit, which is solely based on prize money won in the ten European tour events during the season, will qualify for the tournament
First Round
The big story was Gary Anderson getting hammered 6-0 by James Wade. Anderson flopped with a 77.40 average, and Wade was ruthless.
MvG came from 3-5 down to win 6-5 against Simon Whitlock.
Number 2 seed Mensur Suljovic impressed with a 104.26 average, second only to Phil Taylor. Kim Huybrechts and Robert Thornton among the seeds to fall.
Second Round
No big shocks this round, as all the favourites won comfortably. MvG beat Gerwyn Price 10-2, Phil Taylor and James Wade both winning 10-3 over Cullen and Hopp respectively. Mensur Suljovic let a 9-3 lead slip, but overcame Ian White 10-9. Kyle Anderson, Peter Wright and Jelle Klaasen all loked good in getting into the Quarters.

If you're having a night at the darts and Suljovic and Pipe are drawn to play each other then tell the Mrs not to wait up.

Great finish there from Sully. Just as it looked as his race had run.

Trying to think of a player outside of GB/Ireland, Netherlands and Australia to have reached a TV final in either PDC or BDO. Sure there has been one.
