We had enough chances to win 3 games. Pogba and Mata are looking to be our main creative outlets, both with some very good link up play with Zlatan. I feel for the big guy as his link up play can be excellent at times but he is seriously lacking confidence right now. Happens to all the greats though. Pogba is looking better and better now.
Burnley didn't even defend too well from what I saw, except for Mee who blocked everything. Heaton had a good game. Let's hope games like these and Stoke don't become the norm.
I feel that putting Rashford or Martial up front may be the answer, get Zlatan out of the firing line.
Just watched the extended highlights

Got battered by Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool in big games last season.
....
Against Arsenal last season we had same shot on target so battered is strange word. We also did league double over Liverpool last season going on your league game. In fact out of those 3 teams we played 6 won 4 lost 2giving us 12 points out of 18 which if done over 38 games would have given us 76 points good enough to be title challengers.
We even drew and and beat Man City and in game we drew we hit post and bar and missed from point blank range.

Yes Hafi, we were battered by Arsenal

The 3 draws we had also we were by far the better team to as in Spurs 0-0 away draw and OT game and we hit post and bar in 0-0 game against Man City and the 1-1 draw at OT against Arsenal after a completely one sided 1st half and good enough 2nd half but unlucky OG.

Arsenal managed just 7 crosses all game vs our 24. They made 23 interceptions to just our 6. I define battered as the game we saw today at OT not a team who scores a few quick fire goals then can't get own half or pass a ball to a team mate for most of the game.

Moyes didn't set us back at all.
If anything LVG having a European free season and a blank cheque and a very poor set of competition in that first season bar Chelsea menat he should have done way better.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Most ridiculous comment of the day. Of course moyes set us back. He was fecking useless and brought that useless crap good for nothing Fellaini too in a panic buy, told Vidic to study a tape of Jagielka. Buffoon !
The job was way too big for him !
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Having watched him since his utd stint its becoming increasingly embarrassing that he ever got the job in the first place
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Indeed. SAF wanted him but only after Ancelotti wasn't available because he had already spoken with real madrid

LVG Man Utd in last 3 league meetings managed more shots on target then Wengers Arsenal in total and I think the shot count was similar

I was at the game today. First time I've seen Mourinho's United live.
Pogba might have been good on the highlights real but I thought he was atrocious in a first half that we generally dominated. He's incredibly skillful but too much of the time he just wants to exhibit that technique and makes poor choices. Reminds me of Ronaldo before Fergie taught him to channel what he had - which is to say he can certainly go on to be the player we want him to be. He had some great moments in the second half.
I was pretty impressed with the all-round performance. The centre backs were fine. Blind excellent on the ball as usual. Good to see Shaw back - solid though room to improve. Mata by a distance our best player. He ran our attacks and it never slows down when it goes through him. Pogba could do with studying the videotapes.
And I agree it could be a good time to replace Zlatan and have a quick, young front three.

RR - I think we need to get Miki and Martial performing and into the team. Cant see jose experimenting by putting Rashford down the middle though
